What is the most important thing when you want to build an automated line?
Cost? Technology? Time? They are only part of it. The most important thing is the mutual trust and communication between Party A and Party B.
Party A has an automation demand and chooses Party B after research. Party B evaluates and proposes solutions based on Party A's needs until the project is implemented. The links in the middle are linked, and each step requires cooperation from both parties.
Although Party B provides technical support, Party A is the actual controller because Party A has enough understanding of its products, from what type of parts to assemble at each step, how long it takes to make a finished product, to the data feedback of the entire market, the peak and off-peak seasons of purchase, etc., so communication is particularly important.
In the early stage of introducing automation, the proposal of demand is an important and easily overlooked link. The demand is not simply "what do I want to do", "what equipment do I want to buy", or simply I want to realize the automated production of a certain product.
The demand is a detailed and clear project requirement specification or technical requirement document, which includes: product information, production process requirements, production capacity rhythm forecast, payback period, whether to consider compatibility with products of the same specifications, whether to consider changes in future production lines, on-site pictures and videos and other key information, which clearly explains "what it is", "how to do it" and "what to expect in your mind".
